Our Story: Shaping a Space for Clay and Community

JacobsPotHub was born from a simple idea: everyone deserves a place to create with their hands.

After years of teaching in schools and studios across Florida, Nathan Jacobs saw a need for an inclusive pottery space where beginners could feel welcome and experienced artists could grow. In 2021, he opened JacobsPotHub in Jacksonville’s Westside—turning a quiet corner on Royce Ave into a hub of clay, creativity, and connection.

Today, the studio is home to classes, workshops, artist memberships, kids’ events, and a vibrant community that keeps growing with every pinch, pull, and spin.
